My first week here in Provo has been great! it started off with... tada!! MOVE IN DAY! After fighting the crowd at walmart, getting my apartment organized, and finally getting all my crap put in its place, my mom, little sister, and I headed out to my aunt's house! It was great to spend time with the fam :) and then family ward with them the next day was good too! lol, my first weekend in Utah and I didn't even go to my own ward... go figure! anyway. So after staying in my apartment for the first time sunday night, I checked into my group for the Foundation of Leadership conference. My group was amaz-za-zing!! There was a lot of us from the south, so our group desided to call ourselfs 'the confederacy' and it was funny. The whole experience was so great!! It totally made me feel way more prepared that I would have otherwise and it was just so awesome to make so many friends before school even started! so that lasted monday, tuesday, and wednsday morning and it was totally worth every second! New Student Orientation started thursday, and guess what!! I found out that I have a second cousin starting at the Y this year, and I never would have known she existed had she not been in my Y group! talk about crazy, right?! She's like totally awesome, and we're so much alike, which I think is funny :) I can totally tell we're gonna be pretty good friends, and I'm so glad! anyway, so NSO was great! I figured out how to find all my classes and got everything ready for school (that starts tomorrow btw) and I'm super excited about it all. NSO ended saturday night with this big extravaganza thing, and just sayin... that dance was amazing!! My cousin and I met some guys that were super cute and friendly and good dancers, and overall they were just kinda awesome :)
Now, today was my first day of church at my new ward, and it was great!! the Relief Society lesson was great, the Sunday School class was awesome (absolutely great teacher today!), and then Sacrament meeting went really well! I'm absolutely positive that I'm gonna totally love it here!! anyway, I'll give another update soon!!
